Been coming to this Deer Garden for many years with my family. The staff here have gotten to know my dad and are always kind and patient with him which I appreciate. Food portions are generous and is prepared very quickly. My go-to combination is original fish soup, beef brisket and cuttlefish slices, udon, and a hot lemon tea. Ask for chili oil to put in your soup! It really takes their fish soup to the next level.

Tucked in the corner of Times Square plaza, this gem of a place brings such a great sense of nostalgia with their signature dish — a bowl of noodles paired with a comforting Hong Kong style milk tea. This combo is surprisingly hard to nail, but their signature dish does just that. Huge portions, cozy atmosphere, and incredibly flavourful (my fav is the tom yum noodle soup — tangy, spicy, and a hint of sour from the tomato — mind blowing combination and a MUST try). I hope everyone is able to try this place at some point in their life :)

Deer Garden Signatures Richmond Hill is the one I always go to for a meal. The noodles were hot enough, very delicious, and the service was good. We usually order the signature fish noodle combo—the Ginkgo & Pepper Fish Soup with sliced beef and fish fillet with vermicelli (thin), and the Chaozhou-style dried fish & minced pork fish soup with sliced beef brisket and seasoned pork mushroom balls. The base of both soups was so flavorful and rich. All the food was great, with no frozen taste. Service: The staffs are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful—super, super nice!

This entire chain of restaurants offer quality ingredients in a rich savory broth that cant be beat! Obsoletely love this place's service and atmosphere. The staff is friendly and always willing to help My favourite broth's are the Tom Yum and the Parsley and Preserved Egg. Both are sooooo good When I'm not in the mood for noodles they got this kick 455 set which includes a generous serving of Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken with a really really good red bean drink (check out my pictures) Definitely somewhere to visit!

I love how their soups always come out super hot. The options for customization are also very good. I always get their laksa noodle. Highly recommend getting the beef brikset as one of the toppings as they give a pretty big portion. I also got a takeout order of their Tuesday special, Maggi sauce pork chop rice, but the pork was a bit tough.
